As far as I know this is the only release by D.D.C. (Dog Day Church). Not a bad album. Nice mix of Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B. The only thing I can compare it to is the band Black Sheep and the song "The Choice Is Yours".

Washington - Serious (1991)

1. WANNA BE READY
2. CAN'T FIGHT IT
3. IF U WANNA GO
4. SHOUT IT OUT
5. RESCUE ME
6. SERIOUS
7. YOU NEED HIS LOVE
8. RAW
9. YOU MAY BE WRONG
10. WE'VE GOT TO TELL YOU

Awesome old-school R&B. Kinda reminds me of a cross between Brian McKnight and Tim Miner singing Christian R&B in the early 90's. I know he had a previous album, but I don't have it or any info on it. I'd really like to know what this guy's up to these days and if he has recorded any more material!

Force 3 - Warrior Of Light (1988)

1. HEARTBEAT
2. TROUBLE ON THE STREETS
3. WONDERING
4. GOLGOTHA (HE IS RISEN)
5. SEE THE LIGHT
6. MIRACLES
7. DON"T GIVE UP
8. WARRIOR OF LIGHT

I remember when this came out in '88 because some friends and myself had heard the song "Warrior Of Light" on a compilation album put out by Pure Metal Records called "The Axemen" and really liked what we heard. Once I got the actual album by Force 3, I was a little disappointed. It's not that it was bad because it wasn't. I was expecting something more along the lines of Saint, Whitecross, etc. It was a little under produced but now as I listen to it, I gotta admit, I love that raw sound! I believe they could have done so much better by their next album, but sadly that never happened. The song "Warrior Of Light" will forever be one of the great songs of the 80's Christian Metal music scene. One of the members of Force 3 was also a former member of 100% Proof. They have a website if you're interested in what they've been up to. Visit http://www.force3.co.uk/

100% Proof - Power And The Glory (1983 & 1987)

1. POWER AND THE GLORY

2. DON'T YOU KNOW
3. OUT OF BOUNDS
4. LOST SOUL
5. I'M GOING TO WIN
6. GETTING ME DOWN
7. JESUS LOVES ME
8. NUMBER EIGHT

Don't know too much about these guys apart from the fact they were from Stockport in the UK and this one album. This is the only one I own by them. It's a pretty good listen and a lot of people compare them to AC/DC and I can kinda see the similarities! I know they have at least two previous albums and that they went on to form the band Force 3 and produce one album, which I own as well. One original member of this band still exists (Charlie Wilson) and he's still a part of Force 3.
